2011 Tennessee Kidney Walk Video. See more pictures below and by clicking the link in right column.
Do you ever think about your kidneys? A recent group of walkers think about them often. They know they are two of the most important organs in your body. Click here for more pictures.
They know that they perform many vital functions like filtering the blood, removing waste and regulating blood pressure. They know that some times they don’t work right, get diseased and can kill without the right treatment.
They have personal experience or know somebody that has had kidney disease. That’s why they were out walking on a beautiful September morning. They want to make more people aware of the problems and to make money to research solutions.
Out of the Box Photography was privileged to photograph this event again this year. It was an extremely wild and happy group of people this year and we were blessed to be able to participate in a small way.
If you would like to see or order any of the pictures that we took that day click here.
All the profits from these pictures will be donated to the Tennessee Kidney Foundation.
Over 26 million Americans, or 1 in 9 adults, suffer from chronic kidney disease.
Another 20 million are at increased risk and most don’t even know it.
Over 7,400 Tennesseans are in kidney failure and need a kidney transplant or dialysis three times per week to survive. Help support this worthy cause at http://www.tennesseekidneyfoundation.org/. To see more pictures click here
